SACHSKETCHES 

I’m Sachin Mistry. I’m an industrial designer who likes to create art on the side. I moved to Austin around April 2016 and had no idea of what to expect. I was shy, but did go to a lot of art shows. I met a lot of interesting people, which then led me to hang out at the HOPE Outdoor Gallery and paint. I first started out by fiddling around. The more weekends I went out, the more confidence I gained with using spray paint and painting at a larger scale. The graffiti park eventually closed, but the Austin art community persevered.

For a few years now, I’ve been documenting my art on instagram with my sachsketches account. I’ve been thinking about expanding this account into an artist webpage. With the latest events that have been going on, I finally decided to go through with this idea. I would like to maintain this webpage as a way to share my work. It will be interesting to see how this will evolve!
